Testing and evaluation of parallel comparison data in frozen soil observation
-
Abstract
Using the first stage parallel observation data of five types of automatic frozen soil observation instruments, namely DTD 1,DTD 2,DTD 3,DTD 4,and DTD 5,installed at 1171 observation stations in 24 provinces (regions, cities) in China during the winter of 2022-2023,combined with the experience of field frozen soil experiments in 2019,five indicators were identified for data integrity (missing rate ≤2%),accuracy (standard deviation ≤2 cm),consistency rate (≥80.00%),mean misjudgment (≤6 cm),and freeze-thaw trend (maximum frozen soil depth data correlation ≥0.60),and compared for data quality inspection and evaluation. The results showed that the data integrity pass rate was 93.85%,the accuracy index was 58.30%,the consistency index was 83.57%,the misjudgment mean compliance rate was 62.15%,and the freeze-thaw trend compliance rate was 91.35%.After inspection and evaluation,it entered the second stage of the business observation station at 47.29%.The pass rates of the five types of equipment were 30.23%,90.59%,84.85%,44.62%,and 32.82%,respectively.The application of these five indicators in the parallel comparison data inspection and evaluation of frozen soil observation is feasible.
