Abstract:
Based on the daily maximum wind speed data at the regional and national meteorological observation stations in Liaoning Province,a quality control method for daily maximum wind speed has been established. The application effect of the quality control method and its impact on data quality has been evaluated through typical case analysis and quantitative indicators. The results show that the quality control method can effectively identify erroneous data in the daily maximum wind speed of regional stations, with an overall error rate of approximately 5.15%.Among them, the error rate of internal consistency is the highest (4.38%),followed by the error rate of temporal consistency (0.76%).After quality control, data quality improves significantly. The average correlation coefficient between each regional station and its neighboring national meteorological observatories increases from 0.63 to 0.69,with a maximum increase of 0.83 (station No.81069).In contrast, the average root mean square error reduces from 2.47 m·s
-1 to 2.16 m·s
-1,with a maximum reduction of 16.1 m·s
-1 (station No.85063).
